Having caught Debbie’s original dream, Ed and Joe are continuing the work of bringing fine, but affordable dining to the Emsworth Yacht Harbour and much further afield.  Since taking over on August 1st 2016 they have made it their mission to offer only the best ingredients in the most delicious combinations from early morning until late at night, for those who want to experience great food in a relaxed and contemporary waterside environment.

The originalJoe the Chef vision was a concept that embraced the natural beauty of the location, created a sympathetic ambience, and established a cafe that not only served the captive marina audience but would become a notable dining destination for local people and visitors alike.  In continuing this vision, Ed and Joe bring their travel, hospitality and culinary experiences to The Deck, with a clear commitment to fresh, wholesome food, exceptional service, and value for money. The same Team working with them will be familiar to frequent visitors and offer great customer service and a welcome that is second to none.  Better still, the food benefits from seasonal availability but with originality and a sustainability which echoes the origins of the local specialities of field and sea.

Emsworth, and particularly the Marina are a fantastic place to while away a few idle hours.  The Deck is the perfect place to experience this tip of the Chichester Harbour in all her moodiness and fullness, whilst benefiting from a culinary experience which would be just as comfortable in the competitive restaurant districts of the World’s capital cities.
